    Overview and Responsibilities

    Are you dynamic and resourceful and ready to join the Corporate Communications group as Executive Assistant reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Communications? The Corporate Communications group manages Paramount’s internal and external communications, including press releases and other media coverage. This position plays an integral role on the team providing support and fostering the group’s goals!

    • Provides heavy administrative support to the team including preparation of expense reports, booking travel, scheduling of meetings, and managing incoming and outgoing calls
    • Processes department invoices and ensures that all invoices are paid in a timely manner
    • Prepares records such as agendas, notices and minutes for meetings
    • Handles projects in support of Paramount Television’s publicity campaigns.
    • Maintains department’s shared drive
    • Manages media breaks and compiles clips to distribute internally in a timely manner
    • Serves as liaison to other departments within Paramount to facilitate teamwork among departments
    • Maintains and updates press lists, including larger outlets, newsletters, bloggers
    • Maintains and updates editorial calendars
    • Assists with concepts and content for social media platforms
    • Stays current on industry news, flagging issues and trends to department in timely manner
    • Tracks speaking opportunities for film and television executives

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree, required
    • Minimum 1 year related work experience
    • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Proficient with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat
